We finished out the fall with a very special wedding, one of our original Flower Girls! Paige married her best friend, Jack, on a mountaintop in Utah! With a view like that, it didn’t require a lot of extra beauty for the ceremony! What a simply beautiful celebration! Can we please go back?

October 15th in Davenport, North Dakota was cold and windy, but warmth was found through the love and excitement for Megan + Eric’s wedding. The Pines Wedding Venue is nestled in miles of farm land in Eastern North Dakota. It’s a haven for chic and modern couples, like Megan and Eric. It is also the perfect background for creativity with decorations and flowers, and creativity is what we do BEST!
Megan’s inspiration was desert chic. She wanted warm colors, pompas grass, dried florals, and nothing short of bold and beautiful. We had so much fun delivering this vibe for her, it went perfectly with her bridesmaids dresses and overall presentation of their wedding.
The photography is INCREDIBLE. A fellow Minnesotan vendor, Nicole Marie, did the photography for this wedding and we are SO grateful. She has such an eye for beauty and is a seasoned vet in weddings. We highly reccomend her for any of your photography needs.
Megan + Eric are also dear friends of our family so we got to experience their love during this special day while also creating the asthetic that they desired.

We love this bride! She is just down right AMAZING! We might be a little bias, but 2 years ago after 2 of our wedding coordinators quit at the venue of Flower Girl, Hailey’s wedding, Nicole was promoted to the position! She had to deal with people who know the industry and may have been a (little) intense and crazy! But she assured us she was ready and she had it under control! And SHE DID!! She loved our flowers and decor, so when she got engaged (a week after Hailey’s wedding) and wanted us to do her flowers, we SAID HELL YES!! She rocked Hailey’s day, and it was our pleasure to return the favor!

This was once again a special one for The Flower Girls! The beautiful bride, Bailey, is Hailey’s best friend from high school, and Brendan was also a high school friend! It was a beautiful fall day at Bloom Lake Barn! We have been wanting to work at this venue for a long time! And IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Enjoy the fabulous pictures by the amazing Shots By Bridge!
WARNING….This is going to be a BIG BLOG POST! Full of a bunch of the pictures by the fabulous Mariah Paige Photo. This was a special day for us, because one of The Flower Girls got MARRIED! Hailey married the love of her life, Barret. Their love story is a special one, since their siblings were best friends first, we knew Barret’s family well, and Hailey knew his family before they ever met.
The day was AMAZING. It was perfect weather, (ok, a little hot-but no RAIN). The ceremony went off without a hitch, the speeches were funny and touching. According to Barret the sign of a good wedding is if the dance floor is loaded with people all night, and theirs was! The Bride never left it! And at the end of the night, the Johnny wedding tradition happened where piano man is played and the guest surround the bride and groom and sing to them, with a special touch-see the pictures below. Even non-Johnny’s got into it.
What are the chances that your friends kids meet, fall in love and GET MARRIED!? For us, it was good! What an amazing day we all had celebrating these two, and the joining of our families~ we are truly blessed.

It was a beautiful chilly fall day in Minnesota when Cassie + Scott tied the knot! Once again, this was a special one for us, as the bride is a high school friend and teammate of one of The Flower Girls. The Bride and Groom met in their final year at the University of Nebraska, and the celebration had touches of the University from a grooms cake with a large “N” on it, to calling out “go big red” during speeches! Anna and Issac’s wedding at Brightlake Farm in western Wisconsin, might have been set in a rustic setting, but their timeless elegant style took center stage at this celebration of love. The outdoor ceremony site, was adorned with a garland of flowers over the entrance doorway and another one on the cross at the alter tucked into the trees. The couple kept their celebration casual chic. The on site barn reception venue had a laid back vibe, that matched the couples personalities.

This September wedding was so fun to plan with this bride and her awesome MOM! Britta and Dan are both active in the Air Force, living out of town, so the MOB was such an important point person for us! Their vision and personal touches were so much fun to execute! The bride spent time in the desert for in the Air Force, so she wanted to have succulents in all the floral touches, including her bouquet. Some locally grown flowers were also used from Arcola Trail Flower Farm!

On a beautiful, warm August day, these two lovebirds tied the knot. It was an honor for The Flower Girls to do this wedding, because we have known the bride since she was a little girl. Mary and Mark’s ceremony and reception was at the beautiful Rush Creek Golf Club, in Maple Grove Minnesota. It was a fitting location for both Mary and Mark as they are golfers who met in college!

What a beautiful spot for a wedding! This one was a first for us! Who knew a ski chalet could be so stunning in the summer? It did help that the couple was just as stunning!
Jordan and Jacob got married at Highland Hills Ski Chalet in Bloomington, Minnesota. It was a a hot and humid day, but the chalet was perfectly air conditioned! The rain held off and they had the most perfect weather for their big day!

We had the pleasure to do the flowers for the St. Kate's fashion program spring KATWALK show this May. In addition to the flowers for the reception, we sold bouquets for the audience to purchase for the designers and models! And WE SOLD OUT! What a fun event to showcase local up and coming design talent! We can't wait for next year!!!
This is how it all began. Prom. It started with a few groups of kids and then bloomed into something much bigger. Even though we have expanded to weddings and special events, Prom still holds a special place in our hearts! We love how every one is different and special in it's own way, just like those who are wearing them!. We love getting the pictures of the flowers we created for these amazing kids!
For some reason this winter feels really long. Today we had enough. It was time to bring the outside in. But not the SNOW! We brought in SPRING! And it did the trick! We are so excited for the 2018 wedding season to begin! Enjoy some spring floral inspiration!

In October of 2017, The Flower Girls had the pleasure to do a wedding photo shoot collaboration, which included a photographer, hair and makeup artist, cake maker, venue, jewelry maker, graphic designer and an event rental company.
